Thank You & a snow poem

Sitting here, watching the snow fall silently, I am thinking of things I am thankful for.

Yes, yes the old “my family and friends” but it’s true and there are TOO MANY to name by name without leaving a bunch of people out and feeling terrible about forgetting them.

I am also thankful that I have good physical and mental health so that I may help my family and others when needed.

I am thankful that I have a warm, safe place to live, food to eat and internet 🙂  (Really)

Ok and now the poem. This how Fall in Maine is today…..as borrowed from a newspaper ad:

———————————————————-

welcome to Fall! (in Maine)

it’s time for boots! (snow)
it’s time for hoodies! (as in put your hood up you’re getting snow in your hair)
it’s time for fires! (in the pellet stove & chimney fires, which are scary)
