Friday poetry prompt

I found some phobias that could be bad for writers.  For today’s poetry prompt:  write a poem about one of these phobias 🙂

—————————————————————————————————-

Anthropophobia is the fear of meeting people.

Bibliophobia is the fear of books.

Catagelophobia orkatagelophobia is the fear of being made fun of or ridiculed.

Glossophobia of is the fear of speaking in public.

Ideophobia is the fear of ideas.

Logophobia or verbophobia is the fear of words.

Would a person who was afraid of words be reading this article?

Panphobia or pantophobia is the fear of nothing specific. It is the fear of everything. A person with this phobia lives in a state of anxiety all the time.

Peniaphobia is the fear of poverty.

Scopophobia is the fear of being seen or looked at.

Sophophobia is the fear of learning.

Tropophobia is the fear of making changes.

If there are any other phobias you believe would thwart a writer’s success, please comment and tell me about them.

Friday poetry prompt

Good morning!

I apologize for being all ” hit and run” with the Friday poetry prompt, I am off to offer my poetry book to a couple libraries and to Tabitha King (you know, Stephen King’s wife, who sat in the front row of a poetry reading I was at YEARS AGO. She was sitting in the front row.  I got up to read “Phenomenal Woman” by Maya Angelou and Tabitha was smiling and nodding at me 🙂  Talk about nerve wracking!

So I must become a lion hearted girl (brave) and try to get my book to Tabitha.

I thought an apropos prompt is FEAR!   What are you afraid of?  Make me feel your fear!
